Laurel Ann Thomas

A former high school English teacher, Laurel Ann Thomas loves words and their power to convey story. She’s written for inspirational magazines including Guideposts, ghosted nonfiction and delved into her favorite playground – fiction.

When she’s not with family, or roaming the halls of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation as chaplain, she’s on her laptop doing what she loves most – crafting stories of ordinary characters rising up against impossible odds to accomplish the extraordinary. Laurel says:

A beginning in real life may not come with sirens and billboards. Sometimes it hides in an invitation. Like when multi-published author Melanie Hemry asked me to help administrate the first Write Well, Sell Well Conference in 2013. The rest of the story is still being written!

In her position as general administrator for Write Well, Sell Well in Oklahoma City, she supports multi-published industry professionals who equip writers for success through conferences and weekend intensives.
